About Us

The initial idea behind Who Cares Music was the promotion of home recorded material. Soon after developing and launching the website the opportunity arose to study music technology.

Between October 2005 and June 2007 I completed a BTEC National Certificate in Music Technology with double distinction.

During this period I realised that a mobile recording business would be more viable than looking for a job with a commercial studio.

While still studying, I started making contacts outside the college which led to a number of recording opportunities, including several demo recording sessions and the chance to record at the Wigmore Hall in London.

My philosophy has always been minimal but good quality. Very good results can be achieved with a pair of well placed microphones. Please go to the Equipment page of the website for more details.

Since leaving college I have continued to promote myself and consequently I have received a number of commissions including a concert performed by two Radio 3 Choir of the Year winners, Chantage and Chorus Amici.
